The Browser Company
Hey Chrome Destroyers ๐ค,
First off, hats off to your audacious mission to reinvent browsers. They're long overdue for a refresh, and I'm raring to dive in. I reckon every developer has entertained the idea of crafting their own browser or operating system at some point, and I'm no exception.
So, who am I? Once upon a time, I was a 14-year-old working a retail job, quickly realizing that manual labor and endless chit-chat weren't my cups of tea. That revelation propelled me into the captivating world of TEXT THAT MAKES COMPUTERS DO FUNNY STUFF. Armed with a Computer Programming Associate Degree from Isik University and a Software Engineering Certificate from Flatiron School, I'm all set to take on any challenge.
Here's a quick rundown of my digital toolkit:
Languages: JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP (and, it's rumored, I'm fluent in emoji ๐)
Frameworks: React, Ruby on Rails, Node.js
Cloud Services: AWS, Google Cloud, Firebase, Vercel, and Heroku (RIP)
Databases: Supabase (PostgreSQL), MySQL, Firebase
Front-end Design: TailwindCSS (MY SAVIOR)
Nifty Things I Picked Up for Side Projects: OpenCV, Cloudflare (As SaaS), Vercel, TensorFlow, DaisyUI
Why recruit me for this grand adventure? Beyond my tech chops, I have an infectious enthusiasm for making the web an even more delightful space. The Browser Company's mission to redefine browsers strikes a chord with me. With emerging LLM technologies, I believe we can elevate browsers from mere web access tools to something much grander.
I'm buzzing with excitement to delve deeper into how we can collaboratively make the digital sphere even more wondrous. And just so you know, I'm ready to jump in ASAP!
A quick note on logistics: I'm a Turkish citizen, armed with a valid B1/B2 visa, and I'm currently soaking up the vibes in New York.
Catch you soon,
Umut YILDIRIM ๐
